Description
Our stylised fish hook Jade freeform pendant symbolises prosperity, good luck and success. Fish were traditionally so plentiful and important to the native New Zealand people, the Maori, that the simple ownership of a fish hook meant success. Maori culture has historically been oral so with no written language to pass on their cultural heritage, ancestry beliefs, legends, and other cultural elements the traditional carvings and other art forms flourished. We are honoured to be able to carry on with this tradition.
